Hey i have a winfast 2000 xp pvr and i'm trying to install the drivers on my dads windows xp home computer. I tried using the drivers from the website and they do not work. When i boot the computer up it recognizes that i have the pci card installed and prompts up new hardware. When i select where the drivers are it says Cannot finish or whatever. I was wondering if anyone might have this card and has the cd laying around, maybe they can upload an iso image for me or direct me to a place where the drivers can actually work, i have gotten this card to work on my dad's old computer in the past, i should've kept those drivers. Anyways, thanks if anyone can help me.

Are they using someone else's chipset? Maybe you could go directly to the company that makes the chip.

I just wonder if the card is defective.

You also might want to check out driverguide.com they have a lot on there. other than that take note of the directory that the drivers are extracted to and keep pointing to it when you get the error. You can also just look at the name of the file that is missing and use windows search to attempt to find it then point it to that directory.

i have that card and had the same troubles...it ended up being because of my grpahics card. The only way i got it working was by uninstalling my graphics card drivers completely then installing the winfast drivers and then setting up my grpahics card all over again.

I have that card also. I had to do it exactly as mentioned by Drakkon. The vid quality sux balls on this card. I have been sorely dissapointed with it.

Get out of the box, then recycle it.
