 Vagabond | Im looking at a new laptop. I think I've narrowed the choice down to either the Asus G1-AK024C or Asus G1S-A1. The G1 has a T7200 and GeForce 7700 with 512 MB while the G1S has a T7500 and GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB The G1S also costs 110$ more. Other than that they are the same. Is the choice pretty straight forward to go for the G1S? I dont know much about mobile GPUs, but I'm sure there is a wealth of knowledge in the tweak community. |

 Has Absolutely no life | the $110 is worth it, I think thats also the new chipset from intel but im not sure. |

| Vagabond | ya I know the cpu stuff. Just wanted to make sure the 8600m gt wasn't a lemon. I know the regular 8600 is fine. A little low on memory but it has some option to share the ram that might help a bit. |
