Ok here is the situation. I have an iPod 5G, and my wife wants to get some speakers for it so that we can use it as like a home stero. The problem is that I have a really nice rubberized case around my ipod and the ipod will not fit into most every speaker dock I have looked at. I am not really too keen on taking the case off everytime I want to use the ipod.

If you guys have any practical solutions for me it would be great. Again I need an iPod speaker dock that will work with a case on the ipod. In case you are wondering I am using the speck rubberized case for my ipod. Thanks in advance.

This thing supposedly works without taking the iPod out of the case... I don't know if it's what you're looking for though.

well I must say that it is pretty close to what I am looking for. I am really interested in something that has speakers built onto it already, but I might just have to go with this little device.....any mor suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

i have an ipod leather case for my 20gb ipod, and one for my 5gb ipod, i have an logitech speaker thing for the 5gb one, works with leather case on, my 20gb ipod came with its own speaker thing works fine, just make sure you have holes for the connections and it should work fine, or you can just get some converter cables, and stick it in some pc speakers or a stereo or something

those docks are fucking overpriced and you can only used them for ipods.

yeah get something more along the lines of a home stereo... those ipod docks are a joke.
