Stupid question of the day....hehe

why won't my IE clear history when i click it?

After i clear history, i go to yahoo.com...and then i click on the search box...and it still has the stuff i searched loooooooong time ago...and i just want to clear that up....

firefox doesnt have the option to keep that for a certain number of days? i dont mind stuff i've search in the past week or so, but i still have stuff popping up from months ago.

Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy in Firefox 1.5 and you should be able to clear any of the stored data you want, and it does have a setting for the number of days to store your browsing history.

to clear those in IE6:

Tools > internet options > content > auto complete > clear forms
