I started running World of Warcraft in windowed mode so I could alt-tab quicker and now the transparency of desktop icons no longer works. It is only for my user account, all others are unaffected. Every tweak guide I've looked at says it can be fixed by editing the performance options under system properties but this has not done anything for me. I disabled all the performance options and reenabled them but the problem persists.

Heres a screenshot of the affliction. Strangely the same day I posted this problem my friend says he is experiencing the same thing.

go to the appearance tab and then the advanced and you can change the color in there manually.

I think I had already re-registered the .dll but I did it again anyway and restarted. Checked the performance options and restarted again. It still is not fixed =(

Yeah I never really look at my wallpaper but earlier today I did and noticed that the crowbar was all jaggy. I just thought I never realized how cummy of an image it was. Now its all smoothy.
