| P/T State Worker | for some reason my desktop locks up... and the folders on my desktop dissappear. im running Slackware 10.1 with dropline gnome (latest version also)... is there a reason why my desktop locks up when i try to click on computer or the root folder? it even does it from the gnome menu. all other programs seem to work fine though, thanks. |

| Senior Member | could it have something to do with permissions on the root folder? does it still happen when you log on as root? |
