my friend just got sprints wireless broadband, since he is unable to get broadband at his house. its a usb card. is there anyway he can share the connection with the other computers in his house. network somehow?

I don't have much time to respond right now, but to answer your question re- sharing: yes you can.

in XP, you have to goto network connections > create new connections > accept incoming connections.

I don't have time to explain beyond that brief overview.

ya just use the built in internet sharing in windows.

be aware that it's against the terms and conditions to do that though.
