 Oilfield Trash | How do I make it so firefox opens lets say when my MSN messanger pops open saying I have an email. Right now its opening IE and I dont want it too  | |

 Too old to be this dumb! | Right at the top of your "All Programs" list in the start menu, there's the item called "Set Program Access and Defaults". You can set Firefox as your default browser there (I've also set Thunderbird as my default e-mail client). I don't know if MSN listens to this, but WMP listens to this preference, so I figure the messenger will too. After that, make sure you turn off the "check if IE is the default browser" option in Internet Options, and make sure it's turned on in Firefox. | |

 | This bugged me out too, so I just bookmarked my Hotmail page in Firefox. Whenever I'm on MSN I always have my browser open so as soon as that popup comes up I just use Firefox to go straight to it. | |
