| From Utah, NOT mormon | If I were to have a website that sold stuff, how would I get some type of Credit Card payment option on my website? I'm confused as to how this whole thing would work. Would I need to pay a seperate company to handle the billing, etc. or would I have to set it up myself? Thanks in advance, Jonathan |

| From Utah, NOT mormon | Larger than a small operation. Possibly hundreds of transactions a day. |

| Senior Member | well you need two thnigs 1. an ecommerce site like oscommerce gbdavidx suguested above 2. a merchant account with some sort of financial institution. paypal is an aswer but not the cheepest authorize.net is another option. just google it http://www.google.com/search?q=merchant+account with any of the services your looking at something like $20/month plus 3% of the transaction and $0.15 per trasaction so if you sold something for $100.00 the would get you with $3.15 plus your monthly fee. If you need anyhelp with this stuff just let me know. |
