Hard Drive Problems

Hey Everyone,
Yesterday while formatting a hard drive my power went out. I can now not find the hard drive!! It is not listed in the Disk Management section, even though when I installed in in another PC Windows said it had found new hardware and installed my new hard drive.
I am running Windows XP and the drive in question is an IDE Maxtor drive.
Any ideas/programs I can use to recover this drive?

Try Acronis true image. I used it recently to clone a hdd and it works really well. It also has a format function and is easy to use. There is a free limited period trail at there website:
