GUN performance issues on PC

Anyone else having some problems running GUN on PC? The performance issues aren't that bad, just pauses when you enter a new town or are running along the landscape on your horse. It just pisses me off since it happens at any settings even with a high enough spec computer.

Anyone having similiar problems? My PC is Athlon 64 3200+ clawhammer (1 meg cache), a gig of PC-3200 GEIL Value, Epox 8kda3j nforce 3 250gb mobo, and a Geforce 6800 GT. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

update your drivers

I have the latest drivers and I even tried rolling back the drivers. Still no luck.

adaware, viruses, etc?

none. Adware and virus free Raptor hard drive 10k rpm.

nope, just GUN. It didn't even happen in the beginning training stages of the game, just RIGHT after it and continued throughout. Like after you kill "Honest" Tom.

no idea, you should probably just try completely uninstalling then reinstalling

Thats becuase it was originally designed for the playstation 2. Whenever a game is designed for console first, then PC, expect shitty. Seriously, usually they will use all the exact textures/sounds, sometimes even cut them down in quality, and get a team of guys over the weekend to code a PC engine. Its the game, not your computer, and although it runs perfect on other machines and not yours, is becuase of the poor coding.

How is the game btw? I really want to buy it but I don't want to waste my money. Reviews say its good...

i played it on xbox, and it really made me want to play it more. it was really pretty fun.

ill probably obtain the pc version pretty soon.
