So Google is making it's own browser apparently. There's a comic explaining it but no page on Google so far. The big deal apparently is that each browser process becomes a system process. Therefore if Javascript hangs it doesn't kill the whole browser but rather a running subsystem.

I'm curious to see how much of a clusterfuck this will be both between Safari, FF, and IE and how well a system within a system will work.

I'll use whatever is best. I don't really care who makes it. I only use FF because it has the plug-ins and it's become well supported. I would have switched to Safari for speed, but it's always felt clunky to me. Opera has always felt like it could have done better. It just lacks polish to me.

If opera had plugins to block ads and to fix spelling, I'd be on it in a heart beat.

That's a cool idea... I just wonder how well it will work...

you can get the browser at Google Chrome - Download a new browser . I use it, but I like IE8 better. It has more functions. It has this cool feature when you double click or highlight something, and option comes up you can click on, and then there is a bunch of stuff you can do. Check it out. Both are in beta right now.
