If you had $1,000 to spend on a 24 inch monitor, what would you buy? I've been looking at Alienware and Dell but, I'm not sure what to look for.

Between the alienware and the dell, I would have to go dell.

I have a 1905 fpw and I love it, the stand is the best I have seen with its tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. Mine also has 2 usb ports on the side which are way more convienent then bending under your desk. I find it works great if you have a digi camera, you dont have to put it on the floor and worry about it.

My sister has a 17" viewsonic and the picture is nice but the stand doesnt move at all.
My friend got a 17" samsung but you can see the backlight splash on the top and bottom, which is very annoying on dark screens.

I also see that there is currently a deal going on, dell has deals all the time, you might even be able to save more than that, my 1905 was $290 shipped.
