I just need something thats going to last me until I build a computer in the fall.

Not looking to max out anything med settings are fine.

man, the x850 will cost a lot, compared to high end cards like the 1800/1900 or the GF 7900

might not be the best choice for a waiting card

Just get a really shitty card until u get ur main one. Reaver let me borrow his 9200se while my X800 was being RMA'd and it worked fine. I got upgraded to the X850xt since they dont make my card anymore. How sweet is that.

X850XT is only 160.00 at newegg, and Im sure its a hell of a lot better than the 7300 GS

Why not get a card that you can incorporate into your next system with SLI? That'd leave you only having to buy one when you do your build in the fall.
