Long story short, one of my DIMMs is funked up, and I need to know what to do about getting it replaced by the manufactuer. It has a lifetime warranty. Has anybody done this before?

I had a three year old corsair stick burn up on me one day. I called them, they gave me an RMA number, I sent it in and got a brand new higher spec module in the mail a few days later. Very painless. Who's the manufacturer?

I had a kingston 256 DDR card go on my friends computer, I called Kingston up and they asked me like what O/S I had, programs, specs and cooling system. Then I sent them the old card and they sent me the new one.

cooling system? why would they care for that
anyways, yeah ive done it with corsair ram, just say that you wanna use your warrenty, and that a comp shop or something told you that the dimms were messed , always worked for me, blaming comp shops

I had a lifetime warranty on my Mushkin but they wouldn't replace it without the original purchase receipt =(

Most manufacturer's are pretty good. We've mainly dealt with Kingston and now OCZ. OCZ rocks on RMAs. No major questions, just what is the ram, what seems to be the problem and BAM...new RAM.

Well, let's hope that Kingmax won't make a fuss and will replace it.
