| Globe Trekker | Yeah, probably the CMOS. We'll see that problem on workstations and the SCSI controllers will keep defaulting to disabled, which is a bitch when the OS is on SCSI disk. | |

| Globe Trekker | I dunno, but I think one of our esteemed colleagues could probably assist. Or you can try NotebookForums.com - Notebookforums.com Notebook reviews - laptops reviews. They generally do guides on tearing down / upgrading the popular laptop models, so it's likely there's a photo of exactly what you're looking for there. Or hell, he could just call Alienware. It's such a cheap part they might send him one and instruct him how to install it. EDIT: Here's what it will look like: Last edited by MSP : 03-21-2008 at 12:04 PM. | |

| Tweak3D Webmaster | If the time is resetting entirely yeah.. but the other BIOS stuff should reset too. If it's just going off by a couple hours, make sure the Internet Time Server thing is setup correctly, assuming you're running Windows. Double click the clock thing in the corner task bar and check the timezone and server stuff. | |
