Changing registration name on windows 98- need solution asap

I have a computer that i will be giving to a freind, But a family member of mine put her first and last name in the windows name field. Is there a way to change the name without reformatting windows? Its a fresh install of windows with no other programs so it does not need reformatting and i do not have the time. I am nott comfortable with her name on the computer given the current NSA spying and all the internet spying going on right now. Especially with the computer being given to somebody else. Any relatively fast way to change it? the computer has to leave this sunday. thnx

PS- Its an IBM Aptiva

Go to the Control Panel and click on User Accounts - change the login name from hers to something else. If it's an admin account you have to know the password.

they won't care, don't worry about it. As long as some one didn't pirate it your fine, its kind of like buying a used car.

# Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion.
# To change the values of the RegisteredOrganization, RegisteredOwner, or ProductId, simply double-click on them.
