mod note - moved to tech, and put the images in a reply so the front page doesn't get too cluttered.

When your painting, remember not to go too crazy. The thicker the coat, the better it looks(when wet) but the softer it is, and it takes much longer to cure(months+).

Not bad for your first go at using crackle can though. You got an overall shot of the case?

Coolness.

You mounted the fan backwards though Rear case fans should be for exhaust.

I didn't even notice that. And upon further inspection his CPU fan is backwards too.

my case looks like ass because I didn't feel like putting the effort forth on a good paint job. Plus I've moved twice and the paint got chipped.

I've always wanted to do this

I make myself laugh.

It is? It sucks the air, and blows it into the heatsink.. Normal imo

You make me lol, nice work.

It's all about plotting the airflow of the case. If you have the side off it doesn't really matter. But if the side of the case is on, then you want the airflow moving from the front of the case out the rear of the case, to keep fresh air always moving throughout the case so the heatsinks can do what they do best most efficiently. If you have a rear exhaust fan blowing in and the PSU blowing out, you have nothing moving air away from the Harddrives and any components sitting up front. You won't be getting fresh air throughout the entire case. Turn that fan around so it is blowing air out of the case. That will create a slightly negative pressure in the case so fresh air will be pulled through any front and side vents of the case, keeping fresh air moving over all of your components.

Ok, i moved the fan to the front of the case blowing in

When i get my new 92mm LED fan. Ill sit it on the back as an exhaust.

So fresh air coming in and going out. Good?

Airflow. In a typical ATX tower case like yours, Dans old guide pretty much covers the ideal setup.
