| Junior Member | i am constantly getting blue screens while playing World of warcraft (wow). You guys help me build my 1st computer ten years ago and i need some more help again, here is the memory dump i have used a program to give u this: [i really need your help i have tried everything!] Opened log file 'c:\debuglog.txt' Microsoft (R) Windows Debugger Version 6.6.0007.5 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation. Usually the exception address pinpoints the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address. Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted /NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ... If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is happening. Arguments: Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled Arg2: bfb2defe, The address that the exception occurred at Arg3: aa35dc14, Trap Frame Arg4: 00000000 | |

Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted /NODEBUG. | jive turkey | stop posting so many of these fucking things, just use one thread. it looks like its something with your gfx driver though. shitty code in the program or driver. since this isn't a widespread problem (I assume you googled) i'll guess the driver is fucking up somehow. looks like theres a pointer to something in video memory that is blue screening it. you have an ati card i'll guess? try updating or rolling back your catalyst drivers. or stop playing WoW, its unhealthy =p Last edited by tex; 01-12-2007 at 08:49 PM. | |

| El Chupacabra | It's definitely in the video driver. It could be something with the way the application is attempting to address system memory vs video memory. If it's an AGP card, turn off fast writes and set your aperture to 64MB. Make sure you have the latest drivers. | |
