So I have my PS3 set up to go RCA>3.5mm headphone jack into my old PC's mic in and have my Logitech speakers as the sound out.

I removed the floppy from my PC because I never use it and had it disabled in the BIOS it was working fine yesterday, but booting up today, I get a BIOS error saying that there's no floppy present. I can't even get to the BIOS to disable it because of the error. I tried hooking the floppy up again but now it's asking for a system disk, which I probably got rid of ages ago.

Is there any way around this? I really want to crack into MGS4, but without sound, it's kind of pointless.

try doing this, un plug your power cord, and then hold the power button down for 10 seconds to drain any residual energy in the motherboard. Then locate the battery for your Bios, and remove it. Wait a couple mins, and then try booting up again. Try it with the floppy drive in, if you still have the floppy drive hooked up, and if that does not work, remove the floppy drive and the bios battery and then put the bios battery back in with out the floppy drive.

Or you can find the clear CMOS jumper.

I take it this is for a pre-built computer? Sometimes you can d/l the system disc.

I make myself laugh.

It was a grey-box Athlon system bought several years ago.

Not that it matters anymore, I managed to find another solution to my audio problem. Mmmm, Metal Gear goodness.
