well i'm buidling a computer and have about $200 to spend on a video card. I want it to be PCI Express with at least 256MB of memory. what is out there?! i haven't researched video cards since 3 years ago so i have no idea lol. thanks guys!

You are looking at either a 6800gs or an ati x800gto, the 6800 being the better card.

what is a GS any ways i've heard about it, how does it compare to the 7800 series and the 6800 series.

I have no idea, I just know that that's what anandtech recomended for a mid range videocard.

bought the AGP flavour of the GS (slower core than the pci-e version), and the forceware drivers thinks its a GT
