any suggestions????

ok so before i start school on the 5th of feb i need a couple things...

i need a pair of head phones, they need to be over the ear type, and have good sound quality, and i dont think i will be able to use wireless ones... i was thinking ones of these maybe:

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

i also need a firewire external hard drive, with at least 250GB and uses the IEEE 1394a-Firewire 400(Oxford 911) or IEEE 1394b-Firewire 800(Oxford 992) bridge chip?
maybe this one?

Fantom Drives

as i am unawares about external hard drives and the such i was looking for some help

and for the the sake of being asked i am going to school for: music and recording technology
i would appreciate any comments and help

whats your budget? hard drive has to be mac compatible probably hey?

most of them are, that i looked at... they come with a set up program and the pc's i am gonna be using has a some compatibility program set up. i am looking between 100 and 200 bucks, for the hd, and try and keep it around a 100 for the head phones... i want to find one at best buy b/c i have a g.c. for $100

Maxtor - OneTouch 4 Plus 500GB External Hard Drive - STM305004OTA3E5-RK

maxtor is owned by seagate now, so they should be alright, big thing is the 5 year warranty

wd's only come with a 1 year
