im sick of audacity, either my computer is slow or the software itself is slow to do anything..

im looking at audacity and im wondering if its more than what i need...
just simple editing, cutting, splicing, joining, converting, repairs to mp3 and high bitrate files..

the interface looks pretty complicated for my tastes
just wondering if theres any alternatives to audacity

WavePad

Wavosaur

For non-free, Audacity or Sound Forge...

Of course, there's always Windows' own Sound Recorder...

just give audition a "try"

you might end up liking it, its pretty straight forward. or if you can find an older version of cool edit pro before it turned into audition, its a little more slimmed down.
