 Has Absolutely no life | Reference here IDE Hard Drive problem After I discovered that it was a SATA drive I started t/sing that. I replaced the cable, and then I tried switching the cables (Oh I do love Hot Swapping) and the drive worked. The only thing is that the drive connected to the other port doesn't show up now. So I followed ALi's thinggy there and updated the BIOS for my Sil3112. Well I can hook and boot up with my 1TB HDD attached to it now which is nice, but the one port doesn't work. The drive shows up in the BIOS and in Ubuntu, just not in windows. I think I might try a roll back.... | |
