Overall I'm happy the person with the same specs closest to mine scored 2000 higher

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

I would be overclocking it. All you need is an aftermarket heatsink and fan, and you could hit 4GHz without touching the vcore. Seriously, its like a fucking big block with a 1 barrel carb, you put a 4 barrel on it, and it screams.

Nice scrubbins, beats my score all to snot, I think it was 18-19, My vid card has half the memory, sorta like me! I'd be interested to see how well you can OC. I can get to 3.0 (2.9 but that is it. I backed down to 2.8 and it is rock solid. My board is micro ATX with the 945 chipset. I wanted the small form factor and with that come limitations. Wasn't the board you ordered 975? You could crank that bitch up!

I was going to ask you how far you overclocked that sucker. What type of cooling are you using, the stock HSF?

I'm using this now which is real good for what it is, cheap. My temps are around 40c at full load. I'm running at 20% oc. Stock CPU is 266mhz. I'm at 320. I get as high as 345 beore the BSOD. No voltage changes yet. I think you could get a nice oc from this chip w/ stock heatsinks if you watched your temps. The conroe is cold compared to my prescott. My P4 3.4 has been running stable for two months now just over 4.0 which is a 25% oc. Also a thermaltake cooling setup.
