For the UNIX people out there - Google has hired Bram Moolenaar, author of Vim, thus adding yet another heavy hitter to their lineup.
Quote:
"I have accepted a job offer and will go
back to a full time job in a few months. To avoid speculation and
rumours: I am going to work for Google in Zurich. Fortunately I can
spend part of my time on Vim. But it will obviously be less than the
past few years when I was working 150% of my time on Vim."

With Google continually adding people like this to their roster, I'm sure we can expect yet another jump in stock prices shortly.
For those who don't know, Vim is an extremely powerful and highly configurable text editor designed to be the 'uber' replacement to UNIX's Vi.
