suggestion for the forums

Something I thought of while using the new "similar thread finder" thing. we could really benefit from a system something awful uses to prevent duplicate links being posted. they have this link checker system in place that checks all the links in the original posters post and shows threads, if any that have the same link to prevent duplicate threads. not sure if this is a custom solution they came up with or if there is some kind of plug in for vbullien that could be easily implemented. anyway, its just something to think about, i know we don't get duplicates often.

I think this would be a cool feature but couldn't find a modification to add this feature. If anyone finds one or could write a VB mod for this I'd be glad to help.
