I hope they can pull if off as well as Star Trek...otherwise a live action star wars may just be the worst thing on TV.

QFT! I wish that FOX had taken away the rights to the franchise from Lucas and left the OT as episodes I, II, and III. For the 20th anniversary, it would've sufficed if the blue/green screen lines had been removed, the picture and sound restored, and the movies released on DVD. That could've been the end of it. I wish that would've been the end of it!
The CGI is about the only thing from the new trilogy that I enjoyed. That and the excellent performances by Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, and Ian McDiarmid, of course.
