Ars Technica has taken a look at the 2nd generation iPod Nano that was released last week. It compares the Nano with last year's slightly larger model and offers a full range of stress tests to verify the unit's durability, including a drop-test and journey through a washing machine. Overall the new model is not as durable as the old, but the screen and case are harder to scratch and it offers excellent battery life.
