Intel has finally released its dates of when Netburst based processors will stop being produced. We all know that Intel just released their Conroe based processors, the Core 2 line, and it screams. Well with Netburst finally making its peace, we can enjoy further advancements and cheaper prices (hopefully) from both AMD and Intel.

It has been reported by Digitimes that Intel intends to ship their Quadcore Conroe based chip aka Kentsfield in November of this year, undercutting AMD by at least 2-6 months. It will be interesting to see what comes of it. Intel has plans for Xeon Quadcores and consumer level ones in the Core line. Now if only we had games that really supported two cores.
