Do you prefer the one I had before this one (the greenish one with some Spanish etc.)? I think this one is best for WAP (?) phones because it's so fast, but I just want to maximize compatibility and if you guys want images I can re=add that one. There may be another option out there.

I can put both, but the problem is the plugin (linked above) automatically chooses the mobile theme you've selected as the default for mobile devices. I just want to know which is best for the average mobile user -- the green one from the other day, right? I could use that one and leave the new one as a selectable option.

What phone do you use? You're the person most interested in this I think

I use multiple phones but mostly my blackberry, so the more basic one would be fine.

Whatever you had on the 2nd worked well on my SLVR. As long as I have the option of browsing the forums normally on my iPhone next week I'm all for this.

If you're on a mobile devices chances are either you've got limited net access and don't want to use it up loading everyone's avatars and sigs or your connection is slow enough and adding an extra 100k in pictures vs the 3k in text isn't worth it.

I can force it to show images instead, but they are going to be really slow to load.

Having images load would be counter-intuitive to the idea of a mobile forum. Unless the LG Vu and all the other media-centric smartphones lack the "full web" style browser that the iPhone has then I could see this being needed. However, if you're browsing on a Samsung POS with a 1" screen then I really can't understand the need to have full images.

Try the link at the bottom that says "normal skin". I don't know for sure if it works on a mobile though (I made it more to bring people on normal PCs stuck at that skin to revert back to the normal skin).

Clicking on the "normal skin" removes the other skin but you remain on the mobile version of the site. I clicked on it but now I don't know how to get the blue themed skin back.
