It was made by a guy that used to design routers for Cisco. He started with an Aerial Atom kit and added an electric motor (usually the Aerial Atom is powered by a Honda 4-cylinder with a supercharger). Check it out here.

There's even a video of it breaking off a 360 Spyder at Infineon Raceway. From the gap it beats the Ferrari by, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 10 second car.

Pretty spiffy, even if it doesn't kill trees and set off the neighbor's car alarm when it's started.

I'm Tweak3D's self-appointed mayor.

Thats awesome. I saw on tv a loooong time ago an old 70's or 80's toyota modified with an electric engine completely womp on a ViperGTS. It's the torque, isnt it?

Shut your mouth and think it out.

Dunno the torque specs, but electric motors make insane torque usually. The best reason that car is so fast is the weight, though. Aerial Atoms weigh under 1200 lbs.
