What do you all think of adding another forum to the site? It seems people are starting to get into experimenting and thought it would be nice to have a place to do the writeups. I know Mistawiskas and MSP were talking about homebrew energy generators, I'm toying around with homebrew rocket motors, I can't think of others off the top of my head but I know some people have been looking at homemade gadgets. So, what do you all think about the addition of a DIY type forum?

Heres what I am talking about with the motors... They use sugar, fertilizer, PVC pipe, and kitty litter.

While I like the idea, I don't think it would get much use...

I would enjoy reading almost any DIY project. My first reaction was it wouldn't see much action, but I'm not sure. I don't see any harm in trying.

A Texan, Visiting Newfoundland, told a local about the size of his ranch. "I can drive my pickup for a day and a night, and still not leave my land."
"Oh yeah," said the Newfie "I used to have a truck like that."

Try it out.. If it works, keep it.. If it doesn't, can it.

There's been a ton of DIY discussion on these boards, it's good stuff.. Might as well make Wiskas the moderator :P

QFT. It would be a ghost forum.

I like the idea. I'm always coming acrost new and exciting DIY projects of the technicle nature. That sugar rocket motor is a must try! I'm starting to look for newer forums with free energy themes, but I'd really like to share what I discover with my friends on here. it could be a "how to"/DIY section. There's alot of stuff it could encompass. Just a thought.

dammit!!! I'm about out of aluminum foil! Yup...."brix shall be shat".

Maybe we should just expand gearhead garage then?

Eitherway, heres the information on making the propellant.

and I used this as a guide for making the casings.

I added some iron oxide to the propellant and tested it tonight. You can see it burned a bit faster.

I've done some how to's that i've already posted up. I plan to do one of a near production replication of a cell that is producing enough HHO to double fuel miileage. It'd be sweet to get 45 MPG hwy in my truck and 32 MPG city.

This is bitchin'. Pay attention to the voltage output readings this guy gets. Definately overunity.

I want to make one!

I think it wouldn't be too good of an idea to make a dedicated DIY forum, but rather a thread label and whatever projects get finished they should be made into an article for the site.

I'm telling you guys, merge all forums and go with thread tags. Easy to filter unwanted topics, can add/remove tags easier than forums and will likely save on bandwidth as people aren't clicking in and out of forums.

Also, Xen might be on to something. New project gets slapped with a tag, stickied for a while and gets a feature article.

I will admit, that does sound alot more streamlined.

It would just end up being a bunch of posts of me playing with Popsicle sticks and glue with the occasional duck tape..I would enjoy talking to myself but I do that enough on aim.
