Profile and community sites like Myspace are among the most popular on the Internet and you've certainly seen them before. What most of these sites lack is geo-spatial awareness, or the ability to find people primarily by places (such as locations, social hot-spots, and hangouts).
Discovr aims to change all that. While it's still in its beta stage, it's pretty neat. As more users create accounts and places are added, the site will become exponentially more useful. See it here:
