Ability to change thread title

I know this was posted back in Nov. of '06, but I'd like to bring it up as a subject again. We should get the ability to change the actual title, and not just the title inside of the thread. For example, my 'Mod' thread I posted in Gaming, I'd like to change the title to "My Oblivion Mod (Released)", from 'Work in Progress', but I can't.

Please oh please!!!

You can. This feature has existed since that time or so when we switched to Vbulletin (Nov'06).

The way you do it is double click in the thread listing, right next to your thread title. It should change the title to a text field which can be modified.

I must be retarded, because I can't figure it out. If you mean the Thread listing when viewing a section of the forums, double clicking does nothing. If you mean somewhere else, I'd be happy to know where. I'm a little dense sometimes and have to have things spelled out to me.

Double-click immediately to the right of the thread title. For example, right after the . in the title of this thread (Ability to change the thread title.)

It should show this:

It should work even on regular user accounts - I tested my regular test account with no problems. It also only works on your own threads.

I think there's a time limit on changing the thread titles. I will confirm that for you.

Edit - The time limit was set to 1-hour. I changed it to 3 days. Try now.

*edit* Damn, I didn't realize my thread was started on the 5th, still won't work for that one. Oh well, I appreciate the help anyway
