Now this is what comes from too much schooling and no common sense. Space saving? Where does this rocket scientist think those rooms go when you can't see them? he probably believes a tree falling on the wood with no one to hear makes no noise... God help us if he discovers a blindfold!

its space saving b/c the rotating rooms are barely big enough for one person in them.....I wonder how the toilet flushes and the kitchen works.......since it rotates.....imagine the pluming problem f it gets glogged up......

Yeah, what's a plumber to do? Aw, it's probably got a central drain on a O-ring seal that rotates at the axis. Actually, something like that could very easily be adapted to a moon or mars base, just make them modular and interconnecting.....add them as you go.

When the rooms rotate out of place, they still take volume. I don't see how it saves space. It does make good use of space I suppose, but wouldn't doors do the same thing?

in the event of a blackout, you only have access to whatever room is facing outwards at the given time :P

I bet people could get trapped in their rooms and suffocate, too.

Yeah, and I'd be hoping it was the one with the terlet in it. A simple solution, and an energy saving one would be to incorporate manual 'pocket' style doors. One a related note: I hate pocket doors, WB knows what I'm talking about.

They stillt ake the same space but if you noticed the revolving rooms are barely able to fit a person unlike regular house rooms where you can fit several people in them....it really isn't much more than a studio apartment - except you can hide you other rooms......

Not a bad idea - The Navy uses modular rooms on some of their ships now that have all their equipment in them and they justr swap them out per mission.....interesting stuff......

It's divided into 3rds, but he makes efficient use of the space with the molded / curvy walls. I'm sure some plumbing and other items are hidden under the bed and counters for example.

Looks like a neat design, but I still fail to see why couldn't he just leave the layout stationary in the center of the house, and just openspace all around. No mechanical mysteries and all the rooms readily available. It's not like the rooms fold nor anything like that.

I know what your talking about. The hardest part is getting the fucking door to hang on the track. They never want to just fall into it like on closet doors.
