Awesome, man! Congrats! I'd love to have a similar job, but in the engineering department. I would rather deal with engineering and machining parts. Just my forte, though.

Anyway, I know just what you mean by losing the spark (with computers). I've kinda done the exact same thing. I still love it, and know plenty about it, but have just fallen away from it. Hopefully that will all change now that I'm back on shore for a long period of time!

Keep me updated if you need any help, man. If I had the connections, I am coming around with the money to start playing with new hardware again. I miss the good ol' days of tweaking and modding, just to get those extra few FPS's! I would do the best I could, and would definitely help to take care of the forums for you.

Just wanted to give an update to everyone... I'm now situated in Fremont, CA, right north of San Jose. I haven't set up my house yet, but I have a roommate and I'm renting a nice place in a quieter part of town. I'll post some pics of my house, office, and work soon. I may be pretty busy for the next few days but once my office is set up I can update a bit from home or work.

I have a co-worker who quit to go work with a porche team here in south florida. That was his dream job too.
