Every year slews of newbies come in and discover or rediscover our little niche. Maybe i just think that, when really its just us changing our names over and over again.

Since we do get a few here and there, i wonder how they discovered this place. Maybe from forum veterans, Tweak3D.net is still kickin A, or still appealing to more than we think?

I wonder if i'll ever get too old of this place and dissappear like many past personalities. Or will i rot here FOR-E-VERR. (the sandlot) :P

Its like watching a clock and seeing the minutes of your life pass you by, but only this time its the newbies that are the minutes.

You think you'll grow old and out of our community?

I just tend to stop reading the posts from people I don't like so unless all of you start being annoying I don't see myself leaving T3D for awhile.

I think we've all been doing pretty well for a while now. We have a get together coming up and that says something about us.

I guess I just don't see the glass half-full on this one, cuz I feel we're divided. Like, in the old days everything was calm and everybody got along--you know what I'm talking about--the atmosphere around here was really cool. We had intelligent discussions and we tolerated different opinions. Occasioanlly, we had a stupid-ass who'd try to get some attention, but he'd get banninated in an instant and he'd learn his lesson. Nowadays, I feel I can't post my thoughts without pissing somebody off simply cuz they disagree with me. Lotsa name-calling goin' around, which I believe is highly infantile. I find myself acting deffensively, just like everybody else. And everything seems to have been tainted by religious beliefs or political affiliations. Lotsa labeling as well.
As far as I can remember, that didn't use to happen--at least not as often as it does now... but I still stick around, hoping things will change.

I've been here for a little while now. I have momments when i'm just too tired to turn on the computer but things slow down and i'm back at it. This is still one of the
most inteligent sites I go to, good people and a well rounded membership. I don't see myself leaving asnytime soon. And I'll never be too old to tweak.

Agreed. Most of the reason I'm here and will be here is because of the solid community.

I don't think I'll ever stop visiting tweak. It's such an integral part of my computer usage. I would seriously feel like a part of me would disappear if tweak was gone. I ejnoy the closeness and all the good times. I don't think it's possible to outgrow these forums since all the others members are growing with you.

Meh.

I don't browse here nearly as much as I did say two or three years ago.

Too busy at work, with the wife, kid on the way, and...ummm....World of Warcraft.

I'm with ivanolo on that one

this community is great, but I miss the days when we had hardasses as mods such as sensemann who were banninating the wankers that are trying to stir things up instead of discussing intelligently

In my opinion, we'd need at least one more mod to help roca do the everyday job

Cause frankly, we don't see the other mods posting very frequently

Me too. Over the past few years, Tweak3d has really grown on me. I've seen the the good ol' days at the PCStats board, the g3d/t3d split, and the awesome members from the old days come and go. To me, this is a really great community.

Compared to most forums, we have a lot of intelligent members who spark good conversations, and the flaming isn't as bad as some places I've seen. We're also a small, close community, which makes activities such as secret santa and get-togethers possible.

There used to be some real good firestorms on the old boards and so often it was really entertaining. The form of flaming seems to have changed, it seems to be more of a name calling thing nowadays. I don't know if I can say that there's more flaming now, but the tone has definately changed. It's still a good community to belong to. I've been to other forums that were so sickening sweet that I wanted to engage in projectile vommiting. Here, it still seems real. IMO we have something we can be proud of.

I couldn't say how long I'll stick around. I don't see myself leaving any time soon, I like this place, and don't have any other forum I visit and post at like I do here. I like the small community and the people here, well, most of them.
