I ended up going to happy hour with some people from work, then going to a movie night with some other interns, then going home and having my girlfriend call me drunk from 2000 miles way .

On a related note, I have no idea what's fun to do for a non-single man on a friday night.

i came home last night from work and my power was shut off. fantastic. PSE claims we owe them like $430 which is wrong. our heater broke and our electricity bill skyrocketed and we worked out a deal to pay it off. well i call them and they don't seem to remember that conversation (rep claims it's not in the notes and is a total bitch). and they said that we were supposed to pay it all in full by march and they did us a favor by not disconnecting us until now. number one, that is not what was agreed and number two, not ONE single phone call, email, mail, note this whole time warning that they were going to disconnect us. How were we supposed to know. oh and they can't reconnect us until today between 8am and 9pm lol (what kind of scewed up time frame is that anyway?!). what fantastic service. PSE (Puget Sound Engergy for you non WA folks) is one of the shittiest companies on the planet. they have terrible terrible customer service and randomly disconnect you for no reason.

and what is even better is that we just went grocery shopping so all that food is now ruined. i don't have money to throw around as you know so know I just lost a couple hundred dollars worth of food. that and I couldn't cook so I had eat nasty fast food for dinner. which means I have to spend my precious time doing EVEN MORE cardio to burn off all those calories. oh ya and it's now hot here in the NW and I couldn't sleep because I had no fan to cool down the house. yes i'm pissed and i will be speaking with a supervisor on monday and they will reimburse me for the money and time lost because of their screw up.

Ugh, I went out last night to a local karaoke bar. Met up with 6-7 civilian friends I haven't seen in a while. Got trashed, did some singing, and closed the place down.

Then we left there and proceeded to a buddy's and played some PS2. We continued to drink, until about 3:30am when I came back home. Apparently I gave Ladyblaze a call before bed. Don't really remember it, but I'm sure it was chock full of drunken hilarity.

As for tonight, I guess I agreed to a drinking match against one of the guys I was hanging out with last night. The guys are throwing down for a bunch of fried chicken at the bar, and want to see if I can outdrink him. I can hold my own really well, but the guy I'm up against is probably 50 pounds heavier than I and about 5 years older. We'll see how it goes. Only rule is that we don't drink any single shot more than once. Gonna keep mixing it up, I guess. I'm sure it's gonna be a good time!

So we went to the dance show with the symphony. Had some of the best seats in the house. It was so bad we left at intermission! We didn't really know what kind of a dance show it was going to be, but I like dancing, and I was there with an open mind to enjoy it. WRONG. OMG, it was literally just a bunch of guys in tights running across the stage and spinning in circles! Then some chick in a dress would run across jumping around like an idiot, then a few of them would do the same, over and over. IT WAS TERRIBLE. The whole time I was just sitting there trying not to laugh. Ugh, if I'd paid for those tickets I'd be pissed. It was so bad I'm mad I had to pay $10 parking to see it.

Now the questions is to I tell my aunt and uncle who spent a lot of money on the tickets and gave them to us it sucked, or just say we enjoyed it!?
