Or do people even read books anymore?

Right now, I'm greatly enjoying Haunted by Chuck Phalahniuk.

"The Towers of the Sunset" by L.E. Modesitt, Jr. It is kind of boring so far, to be honest.

Master of the lightnings, rider on the storm,
wearer of a crown of swords, spinnerout of fate.
Who thinks he turns the Wheel of Time,
may learn the truth too late.

I'll never be too old to tweak.

I don't really read fiction, and very few books these days. I just don't have the time! My big indulgence is that I just started playing The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, which will take up more time that I can really spare. In fact I doubt I'll ever finish it. I never finished Morrowind. That's mainly because I got stuck in a quest and refused to cheat and look up the answer online...

I hate fiction, I rarely read it. The book that I know inside and out is my Haynes manaul. The other books I'm currently reading are all school books. 3 seperate books for History, plus 2 more for this paper that's due soon, 2 for psyc, 1 for art(I haven't even opened it), and two for Fire Tech.

Basically, it's something like 10million pages of information I need to know buy the end of the semester.

smokers are not people, they are walking advertisements for the cancer industry of america, they are polluters, and they are a nicotine epidemic -Torx

Makes sense to me!

I've been reading "the zombie survival guide" along with the resident evil novels.

Damn, zombies and and a post-apocolyptic/apocolyptic world are my cup of tea

I'm going through a Steinbeck thing right now. I finished Of Mice and Men and am now about halfway done with The Grapes of Wrath. Awesome Great Depression books.

I've read Fight Club and Choke. Both great. Then I started Survivor but his style just got redundant so I never finished it.

I have that sitting in my stack of books from when I tried reading it a couple of years ago. I got to about the 3rd of 4th chapter and was just completely lost. It's a goal of mine to be able to actually finish it and understand it.

I plan on reading some Capote next. This girl I work with told me about some of his stuff and it sparked my interest.

I admire those that can sit still long enough to finish a novel. i've always had to be 'doing' something. When I was younger, it was clay sculpting, model building, and pen/pencil drawings. Now it's structural design, building
stuff, gaming and beating the snot out of my keyboard in my chicken-pecking manner.

hey brent, check out Jesus Freaks by Andre Duza

it's pretty good. one of my friends did the artwork for it. good dark zombie humor.

At the moment I am reading "the Illuminatus Trilogy" it's awesome and off the wall, a bit like hitchhikers guide...but with more raunchy sex.

before that is was The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlin, and Brave New World by Huxley

I know they buried her body with others
Her sister and mother and 500 families
And will she remember me 50 years later?
I wished I could save her in some sort of time machine
