We haven't had a post like this in a while and I am running out of books in my queue.

I am just finishing up Hocus Pocus, the only Vonegut book I hadn't read.

I'm currently about to finish A Princess of Mars by E. R. Burroughs. But I took a pause from it to start/finish the 7th Harry Potter book this weekend. Two days of near non-stop reading. It was great and you fuckers couldn't spoil it cuz I avoided the internet/tv like the plague.

"As you can see, I've memorized this utterly useless fact long enough to pass a test question. I now intend to forget it forever. You've taught me nothing except how to cynically manipulate the system. Congratulations."

It definately helps in understanding and coping with the pain of it all. It also helps to lead me in the right direction towards recovery. As I said, I will do anything to try to salvage our marriage.

I just finished "One Shot - One Kill" about American Combat Snipers from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Beirut. Really great book. Now I am starting "Inside Delta Force" Pretty intense view on the inside of things you only hear about and see poorly emulated on TV.

Choke was pretty good. I don't know if I liked it better than Fight Club or not. But it's a good read and flows nicely.

Yeah, it's definitely one of my favorite books. This is the second time I've read it, and it's still just as good.

I was in a small town in India when Angelina Jole and Brad Pitt were there filming a Mighty Heart. All the locals thought I was a movie star as well since the town was only a few thousand people and there were only a handfull of whites.

nice, the book is really good. i'm actually learning a lot about the middle east that i didn't know before. i think i'm going to wait to see the movie until i'm done with the book, though at this rate it could be this weekend since i have nothing to do at work so all i do is read. finished harry potter today so back to "a mighty heart"
