I drink plenty of water, rest, and generally drink a lot of OJ. I also try to eat a lot of comfort foods (soups, sandwiches, etc...).

you guys are lucky that don't get sick. i usually get sick every couple of months. but I've been working in a call center help desk environment for a while so one person gets sick...we all do. hopefully now that I am working out, my body will be able to fight it better.

usually when I'm sick, I just lay around. I sleep a lot. i try to drink a lot of good liquids. i never go to the doctor and rarely take any meds.

To me the healing power of water is amazing. Taken internally, or used externally with a hot bath or shower, or a swim in the pool. Even the sound of water flowing from a fountain or when it's raining. Am I weirdo or does anybody else feel this way?

I agree with you 100%. My room mate bought a fountain about a month ago, and I love just sitting out on the front porch drinking a beer and listening to the water splashing. Really relaxing.

ya the best thing to do in my opinion is to exercise and drink lots of water. Also I read on the internet that citrus fruits and drinks don't do anything for colds. It's just a myth.

Smoke a bunch of weed, that way you forget about being sick since you're high and don't notice it. Works for me at least.

hot shower + fluids + couple glasses of wine to make me sleepy + lots of sleep.

i'm pretty sure the alcohol is counter productive, but it gets the job done.

Step one: Cut a hole in a box.

Water in slightly less moderation, many hankys, cepacol cough drops if my throat is ouchy sore, and tylenol if I have a really bad headache.

I find that PC or console games take my mind off how bad I feel, no matter how bad I feel.

Bah, I had a bit of a sore throat when I went to bed last night and this morning I am pretty sure my head asplode. Feels like some sort of throat infection with huge sinus pressure. Has to be the week I am in course tue-thu and training a new employee the other two days. I think I am just gonna give him a stack of stuff to do and check in wednesday. I reiterate; bah.

I'm trying to evolve.
