I'm 24 and i still get little outbreaks of acne on my face.. Its not bad or anything, but i got a date tommorrow night and it seems like bumps just come out of nowhere when I need to be looking my best!!

ive always used clearasil's white creams and cleansing pads..

Any good recommends for "spot treatment" or anti-redness quicky remedies?

Help me out here.

What do you guys/ladies use?

Soap, water, and good diet. I've heard vitamin E is a really good supplement to take for skin health.

But beyond that, I'd see a dermatologist. One round of meds and should could probably beat that problem once and for all.

Or you could try proactiv. I used that on my shoulders and face, and it did wonders.

And then I realized I just need to workout on a regular basis to get my pores sweating, and then I no longer needed teh proactiv.

Yeah, that's a good idea too. Four years ago I would still have small acne outbreaks, and I was 28 years old! I started eating right and working out regularly and now they are rare.

I use some solugel to help the acne rashes to heal.. ask your pharmacist

then, clean your skin with a good soap. I suggest Spectro gel.

With proper skin cleaning and good exercise / diet, the acne outbreaks will be less and less frequent

But as I said, when the occasionnal pimple comes out, I bust it out with some solugel and it goes away very fast. It's like clearasil, but it really works. It'S not over the counter stuff, but you can buy it freely without a prescription.

Rubbing a few extra strength Stridex pads on the acne the after washing my face with soap and water usually helps a lot.

Oily skin? A lot of people will say "Don't eat greasy foods!" but that has nothing to do with it. I've heard to just wash with regular soad and water and avoid stuff that will dry out your skin, as it just promotes the production of more oil.

I tried using different anti-acne products but I just felt like they would make my skin overproduce oil, so I just stopped using them.

L'Oreal Men Expert Pure & Matte Anti-Grease Moisturising Gel

This stuff works pretty good to stop my face looking so oily/greasy.

Use a face wash that cleans the pours. Usually nutra gena orange shit works the best. Do that at least once a day, if that doesn't help then you should get a prescription.

Right now I use Minocycline at two capsules a day, and it helps, but it doesn't cure it. If I wasn't taking any medication I'd probably look like a monster.
The best shit is acutane, that stuff fucks with your liver and makes you sensitive to light and stuff, but it will cure acne 100% if you take it for the prescribed period.

Both have their downsides, acutane is mentioned above but it is also very expensive.
The minocycline that I use is also about a 1$ a pill done twice a day, but ontop of that its an antibiotic and you should never take to many antibiotics.

Anyways, hope that helps. If its really a problem for any of you guys, instead of sitting there crying about it saying how nothing you've bought works goto the doctor and get a prescription.

you don't wash your face ever? wtf.

I used to have acne. Now it's all gone pretty much.

You know when my acne went away? When I stopped using Clearisil face wash. I think that shit causes acne. at least on me it did.

Also, soda makes me break out. So I drink less soda now.

Ah, the joy of females on the internet.
