I'm awake worried beyond belief right now. I'm getting ready to report to my permenant duty station tomorrow (USS Augusta). This is the boat that I will be on for the next 4.5 to 5 years. Anyway, I am drunk out of my mind on cheap vodka (McCormick), waiting for 6:45 am to arrive when I go to work for my first day. It's kinda ironic, as I joined the Navy to do this job, and I am nervous as hell when the time comes down to doing it. To remind you guys, I am a Nuclear Field Mechanic with a specialty in Emergency Welding of reactor plant and steam plant piping. I'm just scared to death, as the next 4-5 days will detarmine the rest of my career in the Navy... God damn I hate pressure...............

Well, I'm off here in a few minutes. The joys of getting drunk off of the vodka I drink is that I don't get a hangover I'm just nervous, as this boat will determine the rest of my career with the Navy (whether I stay and make a career, or get out after 10 years). Right now I'm planningon retiring out of the Navy after 20 or 30 years. Guess I'll see what happens, though. Also, thanks for all the support.
