The gyros or whatever are used to compensate for variations and keep that (disturbing....good discription) thing on it's 'feet' was right on the money and worked well. Two mechanical, twin, mechanisms, set up in mirror positions working simultaniously to stay upright, compensate for
a multitude of variables and 'disturb' computer geeks; all at the same time......amazing feat of engineering !

walking really isn't the best form of travel imo.

Honestly I think wheels are so much quicker and can handle tougher terrain just as easy.
