So Jamsan, you use yours as a horizontal span? I tried that but went back to 'dual view" because I liked the ease of maximizing programs on each screen. I would like to span a wallpaper across them though, but I haven't figured out how to do that in dual view mode.

EDIT:

This will be a good year to go dual screen. The quality has gone way up and prices are falling. I predict good quality 19' LCDs for around 200 bucks in 2006.

I'm not sure what you mean. I just go into the display properties, select the 2nd display on the settings tab, and check off the "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor" check box. With the wallpaper, I believe I used to set it tile, but I cant remember... I use ultramon now to manage my wallpapers, keyboard shortcuts, taskbar's on both monitors, etc... and I can maximize on both windows, as well.
