| | Is there a number or website for warranty claims for the psp | permalink #1 |
| Dont mess with old school | I've tried searching for a place to do an online rma of my psp or at least a phone number to call and I can't find anything. Does any one have a link? And I'm almost certain it will be too easy of a find but for some reason I can't find it. | |

| Senior Member | sony's never been one for the online rma thing from my experience...lways required me with sony products (twice in the past) to spend a good 30-45 minutes on hold to talk to a person that directs me to a local service center... | |

| Party? Where? | Yea you need to call them for support. They will tell you where the nearest depot is. Only sony can fix sony, so don't even bother trying to bring it back to where you bought it. Unlike most consoles, the psp does have a 1 year warranty as stated in the manual. So if any of you get conned into an extended warranty becuase the factory warranty is only 90days, then the salesperson is mistaken. | |

| Paw? | When you buy an extended warranty from a store (eg - Best Buy), you can simply walk in and exchange it for a new one. But if you're on Manufacturer warranty, call Sony. From what I've heard, they weren't exactly the best support/repair. | |

| Dont mess with old school | Anyone remember when the psp came out? That's when I got mine, so I want to take care of these dead pixels before the warranty is up. Otherwise I'll have to do the costco exchange | |

| Party? Where? | If you bought it from costco, just bring it there and screw the manufacturer warranty. Costco is probably the one place that takes back anything for a long assed time. For the sony warranty shane, you will need your reciept. They cannot just look up your serial and determine when you purchased it. If you don't have at least a copy of your reciept, your fucked. I've delt with the sony depot quite a few times. | |

| Dont mess with old school | I got it from a guy who bought it new from walmart and traded a sony s710a for it. So no I don't have the receipt | |
