I've never heard anyone up here say wicked and be serious about it. At least none of my friends say, "That was wicked!!!". I'd imagine that would be more of a California thing. Like, some guy catches a big wave on his surfboard and his friends say, "Woah brah, that was totally wicked dude!!". Maybe that's just Hollywood's depiction of California.
