There was a car accident on my front yard!

I get home yesterday afternoon from school at around 2:45 pm (usual time, I have a 40 minute bus ride home) and started putting my crap away and lounged around until 4:20ish. That's when I heard a tire screech, a thump, and then a crack. Next thing I knew, there was a spraypainted black Honda CR-X sitting where there used to be a tree.

Almost immediately, there were three cop cars on scene and an ambulance to take the driver away. He wasn't seriously injured, he just broke an arm and had a gash above his eye. According to him, he had just fixed the rear suspension of his car (himself of course) and was taking it for a drive when he lost control of it and took it into our yard. My dad saw more than I did and claimed to see him speeding down the road and bottoming out near our driveway, then loosing it into our yard, but that's for the police to figure out.

Of course, the first thing that ran through my mind was, "Dammit, where's the camera, I need to post this on Tweak3d!." Once I finally found it, I was able to snap a few pictures of the ambulance and the police cars, and the crowd that had gathered on my yard. Neighbors I hadn't seen for years suddenly appeared on my front lawn inquiring about what just happened.

Ok, here are most of the pics.

Anybody else think it looks like Guy's car? :P

It's always the piece of shit cars that drive crazy like that, isn't it? It's like their driving is their life in miniature - they've made bad choices, hence they have shitty cars. And they make bad driving decisions too, hence they wreck said shit cars.

There were people on the scene immediately after the accident, including the driver's buddies in a Jeep Cherokee that was following his car.
