My comment was more towards how many people in society would, not strictly tweak people. It would be interesting to really see where money went.

how do you find out when you're supposed to be getting the money?

i did my taxes and got my refund by direct deposit... I figured that I would get this by direct deposit as well, but nothing has hit my account.

It's already too late for me, because this is my last weekend for over a month. Still, I'd like to know if that money is going to be in my account as well, when I get back from this training.

Well, I found the top of the line STIHL climbing chainsaw, the MS200T with a case and tools for $450 on craigslist, new it would cost around $750. I emailed the person, might buy it as a result of the rebate check. But thats the underground cash economy so its not helping build the economy, sorry! I also got a ~$400 tree job for a friends parents where the saw would be a big help.

It has nothing to do when you filed, they had it on the news all the dates..

00-09 April 29th
10-19 May 5th

etc.. the higher the last 2 in your social, the later yours gets sent out.
Mine are 03.. got it yesterday. Check the IRS website too, tells you when you're going to get it.

according to the IRS website, my g/f and me should had gotten it on May 9th (yesterday) but didn't. we direct deposited our tax return. not sure why it hasn't come in yet. anybody here that was supposed to get it on the 9th get it already?

i got mine on the 9th. i used turbo tax as well, but didn't have to pay to use it cause i only file federal taxes since WA state doesn't have state income tax

mine is going towards credit card debt and other bills....too much debt to spend it on something else...

this is what mine and my g/f's says when we do it. we used hr&r block's taxcut. we filed in January. according to the irs website when you put in for how much you should get, we should both get $600. mine will be late because I had to fix something on it but hers shouldn't. don't know why it didn't come in on the 9th. this is really annoying having to wait and see if it comes in. there should be a better system to find out.
